Oh, how I have missed family photography.

This session reignited the drive in me. I can’t wait to capture more families and the bond they all share. I have been friends with Emily for some time now. I have loved all of the adorable photos of her family that she posts. We happen to have daughters about the same age so it has been sweet watching her little ones grow up at the same time as mine. I am so happy I finally got to have her family in front of my lens.

When we arrived at our location her young son, Luca, was full of energy! He was happy and running around playfully. Rather than make him sit, I told him to do just that — run! He had a blast running and jumping while I captured photos. Emily’s daughter, Caroline, was snuggled safely in her Daddy’s arms. At the end of the session, the kiddos sat and hung out while I grabbed some couples photos of Emily and Justin. I love how beautiful their family is and how wonderful it was to work with them!
